What is ONE HOM signature class?

Our founder Ale created this 1 hour class that is a creative synthesis of over a decade of embodied research to help her deal with chronic pain.

The result, a dynamic energy-focused workout. It aims to harmonize body and mind, creating a balance that resonates throughout your daily life. The class integrates yoga asanas with mindful breathing techniques, energy medicine and emotional release.  It’s a journey to come home to your body and enhance your physical and emotional well-being.

There are six core elements in the class, invitations for you to connect with your inner vital rhythms and find balance through movement.

Ground into presence

Begin by breathing consciously and make contact with your body. We use the balls in the soles of our feet to hydrate the fascia. Connect with the stability of the Earth below you. By bringing awareness to your body and breath, you begin to calm your nervous system.

Balance your energy

Our body organs are interconnected by the fascia and energetic conducts called meridians. By tracing them we stimulate a sense of balance. Inspired in Energy Medicine by Donna Eden, we focus on restoring the body’s electromagnetic and subtle energy systems.

Feel with intention

y placing our hands in the forehead and the heart, begin to breathe into your intention. Breathe into your three centers: mind, heart and vital force center to align with your intention. When all three centers are aligned; we think, feel and act in unison.

Move to connect

Change requires movement. We work directly with the fascia to help the body move stock energy from the stressors of life and release the stiffness from pain. This type of movement allows you to notice which body part requires more attention to help release the emotional discomfort that lives there. When we coordinate breath with movement we realize how moving the body moves the mind.

Integrate

Let all this settle in. Feel the palpable changes in your mental energy and your body’s vitality. This is the moment to feel how your awareness is in the present moment. By using tapping, breathing or meditation, we make space to enter into presence.

Co-create

Realize that the way you hold your inner dialogue has a direct impact in how you relate to the world externally. The more you feel in harmony, you will see the positive ripples around you, your relationships and your creations.
